Association for Immigrant Families of Persons with Disabilities “Patchwork”
Actions
The Association operates in Krakow by running the Integration and Support Center. They conduct specialised classes for people with disabilities. They also conduct respite care, vocational courses and many other activities. They also develop mini-coworking for moms, as well as a sewing cooperative.
The idea
The actions they take are directly driven by the needs of the families they support. They want to be independent, active and want to take initiatives, despite the fact that the war is ongoing and the association deals primarily with refugee-mothers with children with disabilities.
How does the Program support their actions?
First of all, it is assistance in institutional and formal issues related to running an NGO and strategic planning. In the program, they also use support related to website development and graphic content creation for social media.
